THE Meta Venturescorporate venture capital of Meta, announced this Tuesday, 27th, the three winning startups of the 3rd edition of Bring Your SaaSan initiative focused on selecting and recognizing startups with high growth potential.
THE Talent Academy, the Employee Success platform, is the winner of this edition. Founded in 2018 by brothers Mauricio and Renata Betti and Jaqueline Padilha, the platform allows organizations to collect data on the profile of their employees.
The Bring your SaaS challenge was created in 2020 and has already given prominence and opportunities to more than 200 startups, from 16 different states, in addition to the Federal District.
In addition to Talent Academy, Uppoa and Eva People, in second and third position respectively, can receive up to BRL 1.5 million in investments by Meta Venturesin addition to mentoring, training and opportunities to connect with the company’s customer ecosystem, with investor funds and accelerators.
How does Talent Academy work?
The platform allows organizations to collect data about the profile of your collaboratorssuch as motivational factors, desired impact, skills and performance of each one, through assessment and people analytics tools.
After this survey, the platform suggests development paths based on people’s individual needs, in a 100% customized way, with content curated from the best sources in the world.
In the last step, the platform generates insights and recommendationsshowing the main factors that impact people’s engagement, productivity and turnover.
“Today we have around 40 active client organizations, including global companies from different sectors such as Oracle, Raízen, JLL and DSM. More than 40 thousand people use our platform”, says Maurício Betti, co-founder & CEO of Talent Academy.
The tool is also used in Falcons Universitythe educational arm of Gerando Falcões, which helps more than 20 thousand students from communities in their professional development.
According to the CEO, the award will be directed to the growth of the platform. “Our focus will be on the commercial and technology areas. In addition, we want to become a reference in the future of work, taking our vision of the future to the greatest number of people in Brazil and in the world”, he concludes.
