To celebrate, a series of actions are planned, among them, the launch of a free training in entrepreneurship for more than 1600 women aged 45 and over. The intention is to help them open their own business or rediscover themselves professionally at maturity.
The action, “New beginnings with Boticário: training in entrepreneurship for women 45+”, in partnership with the Maturi work platform, will last six months and more than 100 hours. Altogether there will be classes with market professors, who will present experiences and practices, lectures and participation in modules for executives from Grupo Boticário.
“We know that 78% of people over 45 have already lost some opportunity because of their age. Therefore, we offer this training for those who wish to rediscover themselves professionally and open their own business. In addition to the partnership with Maturi, we bring Geração Botik, a group of more than 100 mature women trained to become digital influencers. We will continue working so that women have more and more space and become protagonists in their lives”, says Renata Gomide, marketing director of Grupo Boticário.
The course
The course will take place in two stages: in the first, 120 women will be selected to participate between October 2022 and April 2023. In addition to a live opening workshop, lasting 2h30, for the integration of participants, those selected for this initial phase will have access to moments to ask questions after each module of the course, in addition to a special class with a career mentor specialized in professional transition.
This group will participate in a final meeting to present the projects developed during the training and will be attended by entrepreneurs and representatives of O Boticário, who will accompany the entire course in order to exchange knowledge and support the evolution of the group.
Another 1,500 women will be selected for the second group of the course, which will be offered in a 100% online format, through access to recorded content, available at Maturi’s training hub.

The brand will also sponsor the 5th edition of Maturi Fest, the biggest festival of work and entrepreneurship focused on mature audiences, which takes place in a hybrid format between August 17th and 20th, at Fundação Álvares Penteado (FECAP), with a panel on entrepreneurship at maturity.
Campaign “Boticário 45 years. It’s just the beginning”
O Boticário launches a campaign that aims to invite mature women to celebrate their trajectories, experiences and learning. In addition to contributing to the fight against ageism, which is prejudice based on age, a team of celebrities engaged in the cause and promoting important debates on issues related to women highlight age as an opportunity for new beginnings. The presenters and journalists Fátima Bernardes and Maria Cândida, the singer Pitty, and the actress Cacau Protásio, as well as Boticário, show that they keep an eye on the future by innovating and evolving also at this stage.
