New Pronampe spherical exceeds BRL 25 billion in disbursements

The new round of the National Support Program for Micro and Small Businesses (pronampe) exceeded R$ 25 billion in disbursements, according to data from the Operations Guarantee Fund (FGO), which guarantees loans. Until Wednesday, the 14th, R$ 25.153 billion were distributed in 288.5 thousand operations. The average value of each loan was R$87,176.73. There was an increase in the ticket compared to the 2021 round, according to FGO data. In last year’s round, the balance was R$ 24.937 billion.

This year’s figures indicate a high demand for resources from the program, created by the government during the covid-19 pandemic. The original round, from 2020, is still the one with the highest amount disbursed, with a balance of BRL 37.519 billion.

This year, Banco do Brasil leads the concessions, with R$ 8.784 billion. Soon after comes Caixa, with R$ 7.309 billion. Bancoob, Sicredi and Bradesco occupy subsequent positions in concessions.

The new Pronampe round was released on July 25, the day on which R$4.359 billion in loans were granted, according to FGO data.

In the current round, the rate is 6% per year plus Selic. The modality is available to companies with annual revenues of up to R$48 million, and each company can borrow up to R$150,000, limited to 30% of revenues. The operation is exempt from Tax on Financial Transactions (IOF).

Most of the borrowers, or 155 thousand, are small companies, which received R$ 19.779 billion of the total disbursed.

The State of São Paulo, with R$ 5.116 billion, was the one that had the largest total of funds disbursed.
