Goal is to grow 20% this year, with more than 13,000 items on the marketplace
Two months after its return and debut in the digital environment, Mesbla.com signed a contract with 40 small and medium-sized companies in the fashion and apparel area to reinforce the marketplace.
In addition, the brand, which was once one of the most traditional in Brazilian retail, has a partnership with the Conecta-Lá platform, which brings together more than 2,500 resellers.
Thus, Mesbla.com has already added more than 13 thousand new items, an increase of 5% in the number of products since its debut in the digital environment. Until December, the expectation is for a growth of more than 20% in relation to the current numbers, says Ricardo Viana, partner of the company.
One of the new contracts is with Espaço Rubro Negro, Flamengo’s official store, with around 600 products from the brand. On the list there are others such as Concept Lingerie, Lojas SOB, Venore and Allmaria.
Specialized in intellectual property law, lawyer Luis Fernando Matos Jr., founding partner of the law firm Matos & Associados, observes that cases such as Mesbla are examples of how brands, despite remaining inactive for years, manage to establish a long-term relationship with their consumers.
“This is an important economic asset. These are brands that have become symbols of their times. Mesbla, like so many others, are brands that were a reference in their areas of activity and remain alive today. And that guarantees an economic value that spans decades”, highlights the lawyer.
