Ronaldo continues to expand its performance outside the field as a businessman. In the last month, the former player launched the startup Beyond Films, focused on the areas of media and content. The company is part of the holding company ODDZ Network and has an investment valued at R$ 40 million for the coming years.

In addition to producing films, documentaries, series and distributing content, such as the broadcast of this year’s Carioca championship, the startup will command Ronaldo TV, on Twitch, with 400,000 followers, the Phenomenon PodCast and the former player’s channels. on Youtube.

How will the startup

The company will be divided into three branches: one for original content through films, series and documentaries; another for branded content, which is geared towards creating brands; and the last one for proprietary content, with its own channels and programming, such as Ronaldo’s lives and event broadcasts.

Within Ronaldo TV, the streams are focused on games, which also produces Call of Duty competition together with Activision, in the Ronaldo TV Cup.

The brand is the result of Ronaldo’s inspiration in the geek market. In February 2021, he expanded his investments in the area and strengthened his relationship with the world of games and e-sports, with which he was already familiar.
