A posthumous EP by Marília Mendonça was released last Thursday night, the 21st, with four unreleased songs by the singer. The “Queen of suffering” would have turned 27 this Friday, the 22nd.
The album named “Real Decrees” has the songs: “Te Amo Demais”, “Te Amo. What else can I say”, “It wasn’t supposed to be like this”, “Being like this/Very strange (Take good care of me).
According to Marília Mendonça’s official Twitter page, “Real Decrees” is not a simple album honoring the singer, but a compilation of wishes left by her.
Who was Marília Mendonça?
Marília Mendonça was one of the most charismatic artists of recent times. One of the pioneers of the “sofrência” style in the university sertanejo, she sang for those in love and misunderstood by love.
A terrible plane crash, which took place on November 5, 2021, took the singer’s life, leaving thousands of fans, friends and family in mourning. This Friday, the 22nd, she would have turned 27 years old.
