Grupo Soprema acquires controlling interest in Rockfibras do Brasil

O Soprema Group has just announced that, through its Brazilian operation Denver Imper | blowacquired the entire shareholding control of Rockfibras from Brazil. Sergio Guerrathe Group’s General Manager, highlights that the negotiation is an advance for business in the country and an important step in the strategy, which, in line with international business, places Denver Imper/Soprema in the thermal insulation and acoustic. “Our technologies and market expertise, combined, will provide great benefits to the customers of both companies”, emphasizes the executive.
Rockfibras is a reference in rock wool-based products and is present in the most important construction from Brazil and South America. The company has two industrial units in São Paulo, one in Guararema and the other in Boituva, and provides solutions for projects that require thermal or acoustic insulation.
Guerra notes that the merger of the businesses makes room for numerous new features and benefits for customers, which are in line with the Soprema Group’s international philosophy of providing solutions that improve the quality of use of buildings with impermeability, thermal and acoustic comfort. “Fabio Mottawho has been at the head of Rockfibras do Brasil for the last 30 years, will accompany us throughout the transition period, providing all necessary support to our employees, suppliers and customers”, he concludes.
