Formal employment stability is optimistic at 218,902 vacancies in July, exhibits Caged

In the first seven months of 2022, the balance is already positive at 1,560,896 million vacancies.

After the creation of 278,753 jobs in June (data revised this Monday), the formal job market recorded a positive balance 218,902 portfolios signed in Julyaccording to data from the General Register of Employed and Unemployed (caged) released this Monday, 29, by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

Last month’s result was 1,886,537 admissions and 1,667,635 layoffs. In July 2021, 306,477 formal jobs were opened.

The financial market already expected a new advance in employment in the month, according to estimates collected by Projections Broadcast. But the balance came below the median of forecasts, calculated at 250,000 jobs. Projections were for a net opening of 202,000 to 300,995 vacancies.

In the first seven months of 2022, the balance of Caged is already positive at 1,560,896 million vacancies. In the same period last year, there was a net creation of 1,785,489 formal jobs.
