For those who were already missing hobbits, elves, dwarves and sorcerers, today arrives with enthusiasm and nostalgia. The series The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, set in the universe created by JRR Tolkien, creator of Lord of the Ringscomes to the screens of Amazon Prime Video next Friday, 2nd. Brazilian fans, however, will have exclusive advantages this Thursday.
With high expectations and a high budget — about $15 million per episode, totaling $465 million only in the first season — the series will bring to streaming for the first time the heroic legends of the Second Age of the history of Middle Earth, in a distant time thousands of years before the events of “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings”. It will, however, feature familiar characters, including Galadriel, Elrond (in younger versions) and the villain Sauron.

How to watch the series?

On Wednesday, the 31st, the series will be playing in theaters in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Argentina, Colombia, Australia and New Zealand. O Brazil, however, was left out of this type of debut, but will be graced with another advantage: the two First episodes are now available this Thursday, 1.
The episode will only be available on Amazon streaming.

Led by showrunners and executive producers JD Payne & Patrick McKay, the series stars a celebrated cast led by Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Maxim Baldry, Nazanin Boniadi, Morfydd Clark, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Charles Edwards, Trystan Gravelle, Sir Lenny Henry, Ema Horvath, Markella Kavenagh, Tyroe Muhafidin, Sophia Nomvete, Lloyd Owen, Megan Richards, Dylan Smith, Charlie Vickers, Leon Wadham, Benjamin Walker, Daniel Weyman and Sara Zwangobani.

The soundtrack was composed by Emmy winner, Bear McCrearyand also features “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Main Title,” the theme track for the series composed by Oscar-winner Howard Shorewho signed the songs of the trilogy, made by Peter Jackson.
Amazon Studios has also released the album “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (Season One: Amazon Original Series Soundtrack)”, available on all music streaming platforms.
