Doctoralia buys healthtech for health management and wants to impact 50 million users

Doctoralia has more than 18 million users per month and serves around 700,000 health professionals and clinics listed in Brazil

THE Doctoralthe world’s largest health and appointment scheduling platform, announces this Thursday, 20th, the acquisition of Feegow, management software for offices and clinics. The acquisition represents the union of two leaders in the healthcare market. The expectation is to double the customer base in one year and impact 50 million users. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

Doctoralia, a company of the Docplanner group, has more than 18 million users per month and serves around 700,000 health professionals and clinics listed in Brazil. In addition, the platform processes approximately 1 million appointments per month, either in person or via telemedicine.

Feegow is a management software with several features to optimize medical care, clinical financial management and schedule administration. Healthtech serves more than 40,000 health professionals and has 68,000 users in total.

The acquisition was led by Cadu Lopes, CEO of Doctoralia in Brazil, Peru and Chile, and by DNA Capital, an investment fund that contributed capital to Feegow.

“We chose Feegow because it represents the opportunity to expand and diversify our product portfolio, with the best solution on the market. Considering the union of technologies, we will complement the platform we offer for the management of clinics and medical offices”, says the CEO.

Silvio Maia, CEO of Feegow, remains in charge of the business, joining Doctoralia to assist in the adaptation of services that will be offered to customers, such as electronic medical records, financial and accounting control and tools that facilitate interaction with medical plans.

With the acquisition, the number of Doctoralia employees in Brazil exceeds 650, including employees at the headquarters in Curitiba, those at the Feegow office in Rio de Janeiro, in addition to others who work remotely.
