Congress extends MP on freight adjustment for truck drivers for another 60 days

The National Congress extended for another 60 days the validity of the provisional measure (MP) that allows the review of the freight table for truck drivers whenever there is an oscillation greater than 5% in the price of diesel oil in relation to the reference value.

Previously, the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) had to readjust the freight table every six months or when the diesel price variation was equal to or greater than 10%. The extension of MP 1.117 was published in the Official Journal of the Union (DOU) this Monday, 11.

The extension, for another 60 days, of the validity of MP 1,118 was also published, which removes from the law that exempts taxes on the purchase of fuels the possibility of generating tax credits in the acquisition of diesel, biodiesel, cooking gas and aviation kerosene.
