Brazil’s trade balance recorded a surplus of US$ 495.7 million (R$ 2.5 billion) in the second week of May, according to data released late on Monday by the Ministry of Economy.
With this, the country has a positive balance of R$ 2.709 billion until the second week of the month.
Exports totaled US$ 6.463 billion in the second week of May, while imports reached US$ 5.968 billion.
The release of commercial data has been delayed due to the standard operation of servers that pressure the government for salary readjustments.
