The collection of federal taxes and contributions totaled R$ 202.588 billion in July. The result represents a real increase (discounting inflation) of 7.47% compared to the same month in 2021, according to data released by the Federal Revenue this Friday, 26.

The amount collected last month was the highest for the month of July since the beginning of the historical series, in 1995.

In the first seven months of the year, federal revenue totaled R$ 1.292 trillion, the highest volume for the period since the beginning of the historical series, 1995.

The amount represents a real advance of 10.44% compared to the same period last year.

exemptions

The exemptions granted by the government resulted in a tax waiver of R$ 79.243 billion in the first seven months of the year, a value higher than in the same period last year, when it was R$ 60.429 billion.

In July alone, exemptions totaled R$ 10.225 billion, also higher than in the same period last year (R$ 5.683 billion).
