Analysis exhibits that Brazilian entrepreneurs are optimistic in regards to the digital market

Study finds that 90% of small, individual entrepreneurs surveyed nationwide believe their business will grow in the next 3-5 years

Research prepared by GoDaddy Inc. (NYSE: GDDY), a company that prepares entrepreneurs for the daily life of the digital market, shows that Brazilian entrepreneurs are optimistic about the future and increasingly believe in digital tools to develop their businesses in the near future. Among respondents in Brazil, 90% said they are confident in e-commerce to help their business grow. Of the entrepreneurs interviewed, 55% said they expect their businesses to grow a lot, and another 35% responded that they expect to see some growth in their ventures.

The survey also points out that 73% of Brazilian entrepreneurs plan significant changes in their business in the future. Of those, 83% said they intend to use more digital tools, 22% said they will start digitizing their business for the first time, and 41% of those respondents have plans to increase headcount.

“The survey results revealed that Brazilian entrepreneurs believe that having a digital presence for a small business can bring significant benefits and help their business expand and grow,” said Luiz D’Elboux, Country Manager for GoDaddy in Brazil.

Entrepreneur Natanael Martins, owner of an automotive repair shop in São José dos Campos, in the interior of São Paulo, is an example of a small entrepreneur optimistic about the future of business and the importance of digital tools. “We are evolving step by step, offering different and better services,” said Martins. “Digital has been important in the dissemination of our services and, soon, I intend to expand my workshop and offer new services.”

GoDaddy’s research also shows the variety of digital tools Brazilian entrepreneurs plan to use. Among the features they say they intend to roll out soon include digital marketing; content creators; online store; professional website builder and email, Between 47% and 31% of entrepreneurs plan to use these online tools in a variety of combinations.

“This research shows that Brazilian entrepreneurs are interested in increasing the digital presence in their businesses in a more holistic way, using a plurality of tools.”, said Luiz D’Elboux.

The survey, carried out by Scout Digital Research in June 2022, surveyed 300 Brazilian entrepreneurs, from all regions of the country, from individual entrepreneurs to entrepreneurs with up to 25 employees. The confidence level of the study is 95% and the margin of error is 5.65%, more or less.
