Alper makes its 14th acquisition and acquires agribusiness startup

Alper Consultoria em Seguros carries out its 14th acquisition and purchases “Me Sentido Seguro” – a technology startup aimed at transforming the experience of distributing and managing agricultural insurance, and also offers the agricultural insurance quotation service in several insurers. The startup is the first acquisition of AlperTech, a company launched in November, with a structure totally focused on technology and innovation, so that the company can develop and invest in what is most disruptive in the market to offer its customers cutting-edge solutions.

Alper’s CEO, Marcos Couto, points out that there is a large market lacking in technology. He recalls that an acquisition like this, in addition to facilitating the quotation, accelerates the contracting of insurance, in addition to creating market benchmarking that can help even the risk acceptance level of insurers.

“With this acquisition, we want to modernize and expand our operations and services for different cultures, offering new solutions that can help rural producers, delivering more technological products for the agribusiness ecosystem.”, reinforces André Lins, VP of Agro at Alper.

According to Gustavo Croitor, Alper’s Chief Digital Officer, responsible for the company’s digital transformation, AlperTech was born with the aim of investing in technology and innovation throughout the insurance chain to offer solutions and facilities to all customer profiles. He recalls that today, the agricultural insurance contracting process is “manual” and needs a lot of human involvement.
“With technology focused on agribusiness, Me Sinta Seguro is a startup with well-developed solutions that facilitate the management and contracting of rural insurance. Now, after the acquisition, AlperTech will accelerate the development of the agro product by expanding the range of services available on digital platforms – web and app”, explains Croitor.

It is worth mentioning that this acquisition reflects all the investments and incentives that have been made in recent years, and has placed the company at the current level of the most disruptive broker in the market.
