Agricultural fair returns to be held in person with expectation of billionaire business
Coopercitrus event, one of the largest cooperatives in the country, takes place in Bebedouro (SP) at the end of July and is expected to exceed 2021 business volume, around R$ 1.6 billion
After moving 1.6 billion reais in 2021, when it was held online, Coopercitrus Expo will take place again in person for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, according to information provided to EXAME. The fair, organized by Coopercitrus, a cooperative that brings together 38 thousand members, should take place between the 25th and 29th of July in drinking fountain (SP) with more than 160 exhibitors, including machine manufacturers and agricultural inputs. An audience of 20,000 people is expected over the five days of the event.
The business volume should surpass last year’s, which was already 45% higher than in 2020. The 2021 event had 140 stands of major brands of agricultural management and machinery.
One of the focuses of this year’s fair should be the precision agriculture. About ten companies dedicated to new technologies in the field should integrate a space specially set up for the demonstration of new solutions and lectures. “The producer will be able to identify which innovations are relevant to his business, as well as projects aimed at sustainability, including the recovery of springs and preservation areas”, says Matheus Marino, chairman of the Board of Directors of Coopercitrus.
