5G will be launched in Brasília in a few days, says TIM president

Operators that won lots in the 5G auction have until the end of September to start offering services in all capitals of the country.

“This reorganization is another step in the evolution of the competition model based on volume and value, and with more attention to innovation and customer quality”, he said.

Griselli also stated that the telecommunications segment grew in the generation of direct jobs, and showed “strong” resilience and centrality in the Brazilian economy in recent years. “Remembering that we are an anti-inflationary industry,” she said.
